Dean and Leigh Brandt present a donation to Brian Kenny, co-chair, Coquitlam Crunch ‘Diversity’ Challenge and president of the Nothin’ Dragon Masters 50+ dragon boat team of Dogwood Pavilion Seniors Society.

Organizers of the Coquitlam Crunch ‘Diversity’ Challenge are pleased to announce that Body by Brandt has signed on as a 2017 sponsor.  With over 30 years of combined experience Dean and Leigh Brandt are operators of the BodybyBrandt Fitness Centre, located in Coquitlam which provides a professional exercise space,  as a selection of fitness clothing, sports supplements, and vitamins.

“We’re really pleased to have Body by Brandt on board this year,” said Brian Kenny, event co-chair and president of the Nothin’ Dragon Masters dragon boat team. “The Brandt team exemplifies fitness, so they are definitely going to inspire others to get involved in the Challenge this year.”

Body by Brandt Fitness has assembled one of the best teams of trainers in the Vancouver lower mainland who compete as Pro Bikini, Pro Extreme Sport, and National level physique athletes. They specialize in diet and contest preparation.

“We are supporting this year’s event, because, with our recent move and new location now in Coquitlam, we’re just down the road from the Coquitlam Crunch,” said Dean Brandt. “We wanted to support this honourable cause, and also get involved in more community events for 2017.  The Coquitlam Crunch is our company’s official location for our outdoor cardio training, that many of us use on a daily basis. We’re thrilled to be involved, and be taking part in a community fitness event that will inspire others to get fit, and also give back to the community.”

The 8th annual Coquitlam Crunch Challenge will be held on Saturday, September 9 starting with the Stair Master challenge at 8 a.m.; the Make It or Break It 4-hour challenge at 9 a.m.; and the Recreational at 10 a.m.  The event runs until 1 p.m.
